Meet Dr. EMy name is Dr Edith Ubuntu Chan. Inspired by a series of meditation-induced mystical experiences, I've devoted my entire life to exploring the frontiers of our Human Potential. I'm excited to share with you the very BEST. Welcome! Everything on this site is created for YOU.
It's my job to help Visionary Pioneers & Conscious Creators like YOU - awaken your hidden gifts, step into your GREATNESS and create the business & life of your DREAMS. As one of ONLY 300 Certified High Performance Coaches in the world, with 15+ years success as a Holistic Medicine Doctor specialized in Sports Performance, along with life-long study in the frontiers of Human Potential, it's my passion to help you become your most Vibrant & Brilliant self — on ALL levels body, mind, emotions, spirit, and live this heightened state on a CONSISTENT basis — so that you can SERVE the world with the BEST of yourself! Like you, I also enjoy many roles and wear many hats. I’m a Writer, Speaker, a Transformational Retreat Leader, a “Mom-trepreneur”, a nature and animal lover. My background also includes life as a NCAA Division-1 Rower @ Harvard University --> turned competitive Triathlete (I was co-founder & coach of SF Triathlon Club) --> turned fearlessly bad Hip-hop Dancer (though my son thinks my dancing is the best!). Add to the mixing bowl my background in Math, Engineering and Tech, along with ever-deepening exploration in Meditation and Visionary training - the adventure just keeps getting better and better! |
BackstoryFrom math at Harvard to holistic healing. My Story began in the middle of a Qigong class during Chinese Medicine School. I had recently made the nerve-wracking move to leave a high-paying but unfulfilling job in Software, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University in Applied Mathematics. Perhaps you have made a scary move like this too, or contemplating one now? Well, despite all my fears & doubts, I mustered up the courage to leave Software to pursue my unconventional childhood dream to be a Chinese Medicine Healer.
It was during Chinese Medicine school, in one particular Qigong class… where I dropped so deeply into meditation...that something absolutely profound happened. Suddenly I experienced myself BURSTING into Infinite pieces of LOVE and LIGHT. I experienced myself the size of the entire cosmos. The experience was so intensely Blissful ~ so profoundly Beautiful ~ so overflowing in Love... I had no reference point for anything like this. All I knew was... I was HOME. All I knew was... this state of profound JOY, BLISS, LOVE & ONENESS is our NATURALSTATE. Eventually I returned to the physical body. In Pure ~ Wordless ~ Gratitude. The tears starting pouring and pouring. Every fiber of my being was changed. There were simply no words to describe the beauty of the experience. All I knew was that, from this new vantage point, much of what we've been told about Life no longer made sense. |

Exploring the frontiers of our Human Potential, with 26x Guinness World-record holder - Wim Hof "The Iceman"
|
So I became a seeker - studying hundreds of books on Personal Development, Human Potential, Spirituality, and the Nature of Reality. I traveled around the world, learning from Meditation Masters, Teachers and Healers — living many powerful transformative experiences to anchor this new state of being.
In the subsequent decade+, there would be many more “Awakening” or “Mystical” experiences, each adding pieces to the puzzle, until this state of consciousness became anchored into day-to-day life. |
Let's start here: Edith is amazing! Quite simply, she gets it! It is easy to rave about someone, but it is better to say my life is better because of Edith Chan.
